N13bn fund - EFCC follows Heritage Bank MD &others

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is after the Managing Director of Heritage Bank Plc, Ifie Sekibo, who has supposedly overlooked a progression of solicitations from the commission. Sources at the EFCC say that Sekibo was welcomed for his part in the charged redirection of N13bn having a place with the Oyo State Government.

The source said the cash was held up in some mystery accounts in the bank in intrigue with some best state government officials❗

Be that as it may, the state government said it had no information of such affirmation.

Evidently, letters of welcome sent to the bank for the arrival of record officers to the said accounts were turned down by the administration, while the bank couldn't give essential archives identifying with the records.

It was learnt that 3 bank workers, including a relationship administrator and a consistence officer, were arrested by the counter unite organization. Analysts of the EFCC were said to have raged the bank's head office a week ago to recoup some touchy reports

The Group Head, Corporate Communication, Heritage Bank, Mr. Fela Ibidapo, affirmed that the EFCC was examining a few records at the bank while denying there is no administration extortion and that the EFCC is keen on a client's record.
