Harry Styles has found himself a fan in Justin Bieber! The Biebs took to Instagram on May 19 to praise Harry for his solo work with the sweetest message. See the message below

Justin and Harry’s band, One Direction, used to constantly be pitted against one another because they were two of the biggest acts in pop music, so it’s great to see that these guys are still able to get along. The 23-year-old has always been friendly with 1D members Liam Payne and Niall Horan, but there’s never been much public interaction between him and Harry like this — who knew Justin was such a fan?!

Interestingly, Justin’s gushing message comes after Harry’s former bandmate, Liam, gave a much different public opinion on his music. “I’ll be honest with you, it’s not my sort of music,” he admitted in a recent interview. “It’s not something I’d listen to. But I think he did a great job of doing what he wanted to do.” The new dad clearly meant no harm with his opinion, though, as he also revealed he thinks Harry would feel the same way about his solo work.

While Harry has been all over the UK, New York and Los Angeles promoting his new album over the last two weeks, Justin has also been managing to stay quite busy, with his Purpose tour hitting India, Israel, Dubai and South Africa throughout May. Now, he’s on a bit of a break before bringing the show to stadiums in Europe throughout June and July, eventually returning for a string of U.S. dates in August. Harry will kick off his own tour at the end of summer!

Final results show incumbent president emphatically beating rival Ebrahim Raisi to extend his time in office.

Iran's reformist President Hassan Rouhani has emphatically won the country's presidential election, according to official results, fending off a challenge by principlist rival, Ebrahim Raisi.

With nearly all of votes in Friday's hard-fought poll counted, Rouhani was leading the race with 58.6 percent, state media broadcast on Saturday. Raisi, his closest rival, won 39.8 percent. Two other candidates - Mostafa Mirsalim, a conservative, and reformist Mostafa Hashemitaba - were around the one percent mark.

A big turnout on Friday, estimated at more than 40 million out of 56 million registered voters, led to the vote being extended by several hours to deal with long queues. Official final results are expected later on Saturday.

Scenes of joy as 82 schoolgirls released from Boko Haram see their parents for the first time since April 2014.

Parents of the Chibok girls released from Boko Haram earlier this month were reunited with their daughters on Saturday in the Nigerian capital Abuja.

There were emotional scenes at the reunion ceremony with fathers gripping their daughters in tight hugs, while mothers shrieked with joy, wiping away tears streaming from their eyes.

One beaming father picked his daughter up and swung her around in the air.

They hadn't seen each other since April 2014, when fighters from the armed group snatched over 200 schoolgirls from their dormitories in northeast Nigeria.

"I'm feeling very happy, I was dancing with her, she's very happy," said Yakubu Nkeki, whose niece Maimuna - who he has raised as his own child - was among the 82 released.

"Everyone was dancing today, even the old ones, everyone was dancing," Nkeki told AFP news agency.

"All of us had lost hope, we thought the girls would not be returned." Nkeki added.

Nkeki, who represents the Chibok parents, said that they would attend a church service with the girls on Sunday, before returning home early next week.

Nigeria's minister for women Aisha Alhassan has said that the government's goal is to have all the rescued Chibok girls back in school by September.

A Tunisian court Monday sentenced to one month in prison a man who smoked a cigarette in public during the Muslim dawn-to-dusk holy fasting month of Ramadan, a spokesman said.

The man was seen smoking outside the Bizerte courthouse by a judiciary official who informed the police before they arrested him and referred him to the prosecution, the spokesman Chokri Lahmar told AFP.

There is no law against eating or drinking in public during Ramadan, but every year the issue comes to the fore in the North African country. Monday's ruling came a day after dozens of Tunisians demonstrated in the capital Tunis to demand the right to eat and drink in public during the Muslim fasting month.

Luis Suarez has often suffered accusations of going to ground too easily, hitting the deck in the hope of winning a penalty or two.

The Barcelona star has built up quite a reputation over the years , and so perhaps it was no surprise to see a statue of the Uruguayan lying prone on the ground in his country of birth.

The monument, which was in the city of Salto, was toppled on Saturday, while Suarez and others were away at the wedding of his club team-mate Lionel Messi.

While being taken away to be refurbished, a note has been replaced in the spot, stating: ‘I went to Messi’s wedding, I’ll be back soon.’ According to local media, the person responsible for the fallen icon has already been arrested.

Twitter has been on a roll in recent weeks with its Android app. Last month, the client — along with its desktop and mobile web counterparts — were redesigned, while the app more recently received an automatic night mode. In the latest beta, Twitter is adding a new “Reduce motion” option to limit animations like live engagement counts.

Heading to the Accessibility pane under Settings and privacy in version 7.4 adds a new “Reduce motion” toggle that “Limits the amount of in-app animations, including live engagement counts.” The latter feature — which delightfully updates the reply, retweet, and like count on the main feed — has been on Android for quite a while now, but just made its way to other platforms.

With the reduce motion toggle enabled, the counts refresh after returning to the main feed from a Tweet view instead of immediately.

Greater consumption of coffee could lead to a longer life, according to two new studies published Monday. One study found that drinking more coffee could significantly lower a person's risk of mortality.

The second study was more novel, as it focused on non-white populations. After surveying over 185,000 African-Americans, Native Americans, Hawaiians, Japanese-Americans, Latinos and whites, the researchers found that coffee increases longevity across various races.

People who drank two to four cups a day had an 18% lower risk of death compared with people who did not drink coffee, according to the study. These findings are consistent with previous studies that had looked at majority white populations, said Veronica Wendy Setiawan, associate professor of preventative medicine at USC's Keck School of Medicine, who led the study on nonwhite populations.

A new study published in the _Nature Ecology and Evolution_ journal found that when some plants are under attack from hungry herbivores, they emit defences that make themselves incredibly foul-tasting to caterpillars, which spurs the caterpillars to eat each other.

Orrock and his research team sprayed tomato plants with methyl jasmonate—a substance plants produce in response to environmental stresses—to trigger the plants’ defence mechanisms. This chemical allowed the plant to change its chemistry, which made it less appetising to the beet armyworm caterpillars that were placed on a treated plant.

This phenomenon has been documented in a variety of plants, and research has suggested that plants can sense when surrounding plants are under attack, which can spur the production of methyl jasmonate in entire communities of plants.

Microsoft announced at its Build 2017 developer conference earlier this year that Ubuntu would be heading to the Windows Store, and now the popular Linux distro is available to download.

Ubuntu — like SUSE Linux and Fedora, the other two forthcoming Linux distros heading to the store —_ _runs in a sandbox alongside Windows 10, and offers regular command-line utilities as a standalone installation, with shared access to files and hardware with Windows 10.

In order to install Ubuntu, users will have to navigate to Control Panel (not the newer Windows 10 Settings app) and select the "Turn Windows features on or off" menu. There, you’ll be able to select the "Windows Subsystem for Linux," which will allow Ubuntu to work following a reboot.

The tech giant Microsoft’s mobile ecosystem has suffered, in recent months, a real revolution, almost always in the negative. Windows 10 Mobile is a reality, but it has failed to captivate users.
The Windows Phone 8.1 cycle now comes to an end, losing official Microsoft support today. From now on there will be no updates and this is an operating system that is officially finished.
It is not understood, for now, what will be the future that the tech giant Microsoft intends to give its mobile operating system. If many rumors pointed to its almost imminent end, there are also rumors and evidence that this will undergo a reshuffle and a resurgence soon, with the so often spoken Surface Phone.

It was also common knowledge that the end of Windows Phone 8.1 was marked, ending the tech giant Microsoft’s support. That date has arrived and recently Windows Phone 8.1 officially loses its support.
In fact, this little or nothing changes for most users of this system, since the last update happened more than 2 years ago and since then nothing new has been released.
The tech giant Microsoft had set Windows Phone 8.1 support for 36 months, which it fulfilled in full, although without having released many news or updates.
Microsoft’s advice now is for users to upgrade their devices to the next version, Windows 10 Mobile if they are supported for this release. In case there is no support, the brand recommends upgrading the equipment itself.
With a utilization rate of nearly 74% within the universe of the tech giant Microsoft, this is a system that is still perfectly capable of being used on a day to day basis. The lack of applications has made life difficult for users and the situation has not improved with the new version.

📰 *TP1*: *East African scientists turn to gene sequencing against 'Ebola of plants'*

The root vegetable cassava has no defence against a tiny insect called the whitefly, that is decimating crops across East Africa, with dire economic and humanitarian consequences.

The whitefly carries two viruses that together destroy over $1 billion worth of cassava in Sub-Saharan Africa each year. Cassava Mosaic Disease (CMD) is the more established threat and does most of the damage. But scientists are even more alarmed by an outbreak of Cassava Brown Streak Disease (CBSD) - dubbed the "Ebola of plants."

The disease is highly infectious, difficult to detect, and it mutates rapidly into new strains. Farmers often discover the tell-tale brown streaks only after their entire crop has been destroyed. The outbreak could have a catastrophic impact if it continues to spread. But local specialists are working with gene sequencing to defeat it.

American singer-songwriter, Evangelist Don Moen has died after short battle with stomach pain.
His family confirmed that he died early this morning at General Acute Care (GAC) Hospital in California barely couple of hours after he was rushed to the hospital.
The cause of his death is not immediately known as the body is sent to the morgue for autopsy.
President Trump also has expressed his tributes, saying, “Don Moen was one of the best healing gospel artistes that the country has ever produced”.
Bishop T.D Jakes, who is yet to come to the grips of this shocking news described to local media how shocked he was when he heard the news.
“It was a massive shock to me, got so perplexed, just like a dream. I could not believe it at first because of the rampant hoax news dominating social media of late of which I was a victim. A call from his family member confirmed it to me but I am grateful that he’s in the bossom of the Lord.”-T.D. Jakes said.
Donald James “Don” Moen, 66, the multiple award-winning star according to records, brought gospel to both old and younger generation through his unique style and drew thousands of people closer to the music genre.
Before Moen was hired to work for Integrity Music, he attended Oral Roberts University and became a Living Sound musician for Terry Law Ministries and traveled with Terry Law for ten years.
